BAQ 2012 is a 3-day conference held from December 5 to 7. The BAQ conference consists of plenary sessions, breakout sessions, country roundtables, poster presentation, exhibits, social events and press conferences and launches. We have received more than 200 abstracts for the topics:
About 120 experts, policy makers and practitioners are expected to deliver oral presentations throughout BAQ 2012 covering the conference theme Growing Cities, Healthy Cities. Please refer to the program for list of topics and speakers in each conference session.
The poster exhibit will present approximately 60 posters on academic research and on-the-ground projects in Asia. The BAQ Exhibition includes booths for (a) Hong Kong (b) CAI-Asia and Country Networks (China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam) (c) Sponsors (d) Partners and Supporting Organizations.
Pre-events are held during the days preceding the conference by different organizations on a range of topics related to air quality such as air pollution from power plants, fuel economy of vehicle fleets, public transport, or the co-benefits of climate change and air quality management.
